For many tourists trying to organise transport to all of the great destinations on the Gold Coast can be a stressful and expensive experience. That’s why so many Gold Coast visitors are choosing the Freedom Pass for all their holiday transport needs.
The Freedom Pass is a complete transport package that includes Gold Coast Airport Transfers and unlimited Theme Park Transfers with Gold Coast Tourist Shuttle and unlimited travel on the local bus network, Surfside Buslines.
When you arrive at the Gold Coast Airport (located in Coolangatta) simply visit our friendly staff at one of our Transport & Information Desks, located at the southern most end of the Qantas Arrivals Terminal and the northern most end of Terminal 2, just past the Virgin luggage carousel.
Our airport staff will provide you with all the information you need to make the most of your Freedom Pass including a copy of our Get Around Guide to help you use the local buses. You can purchase your Freedom Pass now OR from one of our Transport & Information Counters when you arrive at the Gold Coast Airport.
Arriving and Departing Via the Gold Coast Airport
The Freedom Pass includes a return Gold Coast Airport Transfer in air conditioned coaches. Our Airport Transfer services operate to all registered accommodation houses from Kingcliff in New South Wales to Hope Island in Queensland. Transfers between accommodation houses located north of the airport operate on the Gold Coast Airport flight schedule while transfers south of the airport operate on a scheduled timetable.
There is no need to pre-book your arriving transfer, simply make your way to one of our Transport & Information Desks upon arrival at the airport and our friendly staff will direct you to the waiting coach. Our drivers can also assist you with your luggage when getting on and off the coach.
Your return Airport Transfer must be booked 48 hours prior to your flight's departure by calling our reservations staff on 1300 655 655. The return Airport Transfer component of your Freedom Pass is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
UNLIMITED Theme Park Transfers
The Freedom Pass also includes UNLIMITED door to door* transfers in air-conditioned coaches with Gold Coast Tourist Shuttle.
We service all the major theme parks including Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, Dreamworld, WhiteWater World, Movie World, Sea World and Wet’N’Wild to and from all registered accommodation houses as far south as Twin Towns, Tweed Heads.
Your theme park transfers must be booked by 11am the day prior to travel by contacting our reservations staff on 1300 655 655. If you choose to leave the theme park earlier or later then you have booked your return transfer for, you can simply use your Freedom Pass to jump onto one of the Surfside theme park express services to travel back to your accommodation house.

UNLIMITED Local Bus Travel
With local bus services operating up to 24 hours a day, catching a bus is the simple alternative to hiring a car or catching a taxi and with such an extensive bus transport network, getting around the Gold Coast with a Freedom Pass is not only quick and easy but also safe and inexpensive. The Freedom Pass is your ticket to exploring the Gold Coast region at your own pace and gives you the freedom to hop on and off the bus services as often, or as little, as you like, without having to pre-book your trip.
Surfside Buslines operates over 45 bus routes across the Gold Coast with services running every 5 minutes between Burleigh and Southport at the busiest times of the day. No matter where you choose to stay on your holiday the Freedom Pass will get you just about anywhere you want to go!
Use your Freedom Pass to travel to all the great shopping centres and districts, entertainment venues and precincts, beautiful beaches from Pottsville in the South to Main Beach in the North, tourist attractions, restaurants or use the services to visit your friends and family.

The Freedom Pass really is the ULTIMATE all-inclusive travel package providing unbeatable value for money.
Adult, Child, Pensioner and Family Freedom Passes are available for 3, 5, 7 and 10 consecutive days, valid from and including your arrival date. The return airport transfer component of your Freedom Pass is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
